Lunch: Mung Dal with Broccoli. Salad with tomatoes, avocado, radicchio, basil, mozarella cheese in a olive oil and lemon dressing. Sweet Lassi.
Dr. Douillard's recent newsletter said to start eating more apples, pears and watermelon. That sounded so good, and I've really been focusing on eating them whenever I need a pick me up. They're in season, and taste wonderful. Especially the watermelons are really sweet right now.
You know, it takes a while for the melons to mature (basically all summer!), and now it's harvest time. Enjoy some melon every day. Remeber eat it alone, however.
Melons digest quickly, so it's best to eat them alone, so they don't get slowed down by slower digesting foods. When that happens to me, I usually get gas!

In The Moment Eating...
Living in Palm Desert...My main sources of protein have become chicken, garbonzo beans and lentils. With lots of cooked greens for vegetables. Cottage cheese, mozarella cheese, Tortillas, Lassi. Aloe Vera Juice, and more...to be continued with recipes and cooking shows.
I'm also listening again to my favorite online radio station Groove Salad by SomaFM.
Here's how to find and play the same tunes that are rockin' Bliss Kitchen.
Open iTunes Store>In your library, click on Radio>Click open "Ambient," and scroll down to Groove Salad>Click to open, and play.( I choose 128 kbps.)

Strappy T's

We have sexy t-shirts with the Bliss Kitchen logo on the front for sale. In pink or white with a comfortable price of $22. Be Blissful in your kitchen!
I love to wear cotton clothing.
I'm looking for a good source of organic strappy t's. If you have a source, please let me know.
In the meantime, we have to wear clothes...(although, here in Palm Desert, CA, people don't wear very much!).
Have a fantastic Sunday.
Love you all,
Patti
Big thanks to Mr. Xeno for all his loving kindness in getting all this information out in a beautiful way! You can look at his design website at xenodesign.com

Palm Springs in the Summer!
Chris and I moved to Palm Springs, California last week, and we're lovin' it. It's everything I was hoping for right now. Sunshine every day. Warm weather (bordering on hot! at 111 degrees today). A wonderful market called Harvest Health on Hwy. 111, with all organic products. Inside the market is Luscious Lorraine’s a delicious cafĂ©. We’re surrounded by beautifully majestic mountains. Incredible landscaping everywhere. Delicious dates - the eating kind. Salt water swimming pools. Clean drinking water, and air. I'm in heaven!

Whole Foods dumps Henry's
I think this is great news. The staff at a Henry's are smart, happy, and they go out of there way to help you. Whoever has been in charge of Henry's is doing a great job.
